Watch the thrills and spills of track cycling

Manchester 2002 is offering you and a friend the opportunity to be present at the biggest ever sporting occasion in the United Kingdom. There are over two dozen tickets available in the competition section right now to some of the hottest finals at the Games.

There are nine pairs of athletics tickets waiting to be won - and they’re saying “come and get us!” The athletics, of course, is being held at the brand new City of Manchester Stadium and these tickets, with a face value of £25 each, are to one of the top sessions being hosted on 31 July.

Two pairs of tickets to the boxing finals – being held at the MEN Arena on 3 August – are also up for grabs. Each ticket has a face value of £40 so winners of this competition are getting the greatest spectator action.

The National Cycling Centre is the best track cycling venue in the UK and you can be a winner of one of two pairs of tickets available a finals session on 1 August. The excitement generated by the Commonwealth’s top cyclists as they swoop around the banked circuit, nose to tail, is almost unbearable.

A pair of tickets can be won to see the diving finals take place at the top class Manchester Aquatics Centre – a venue opened by Her Majesty only two years ago – and the atmosphere that surrounds major diving events is one not to be missed at any cost. The £30 tickets get you to the grand finale on 27 July.

Ever experienced the intense thrills of top flight judo? You can now, as Manchester 2002 is also giving away a pair of tickets to the finals being held at the GMEX Exhibition Centre in Manchester on 31 July. This is an event not to be missed!

Roll up folks – there are no catches here – just enter the competitions and experience part of a once in a lifetime sporting event.

And remember, there are still tickets available to purchase – so if you don’t want to leave your chances of attending the summer’s top event to chance buy online
