The area around Sportcity in east Manchester will be very busy throughout the Games period.
In late July and early August the Commonwealth Games will be in full swing in east Manchester. The Games are a major sporting event that will bring excitement and entertainment to the city and it is vital that Manchester residents enjoy the Games while they are in town.
There are typically two sporting sessions a day during Games time. Spectators will arrive over a two to three hour period for each session, but they will, of course, all exit over a much shorter period.
