Q. What is the official mascot of the Games?
A. Kit is the official mascot of the XVII Commonwealth Games. Part cat, part lion, Kit is the brainchild of artist David Hughes of Marple.

Q. Who designed the Spirit of Friendship logo?
A. The logo was designed by Race, a local design agency. The three figures can either represent three athletes on a podium or three artists on a stage.
