Cooke continues to shine in the pool

Rebecca Cooke followed last nightís success by easing into the final of the womenís 400m freestyle.

Cooke finished nearly a second ahead of Canadaís Jessica Deglau and was two seconds ahead of the winner of heat 2, Elka Graham.

Cooke will now be looking to win a further medal to add to Englandís already impressive total.

In the final heats of the morning the men were going in the 200m individual medley.

Last night's gold medallist Justin Norris cruised through into the final with a time of 2:03.08 where he was joined by fellow Australian Robert van Der Zant.

Scotland's Michael Cole also qualified as the winner of his heat.
