Aussie surprised by freestyle success

Australiaís Jodie Henry was the fastest qualifier in the womenís 100m freestyle but she wasnít happy with the outcome.

Henry wasn't happy about being the fastest

Henry, who qualified with in a time of 55.79sec, seemed surprised about the result: ďI donít want to be the fastest in! I donít like it, Iím just not used to it,Ē she said.

Scotlandís Alison Sheppard (56.04) finished second in the same in heat and was the next fastest qualifier. Englandís Karen Legg, who gained two silver relay medals in Kula Lumpur, won heat five and finished third overall.

Anna-Liza Mopio-Jane of Papa New Guinea didnít qualify despite achieving a personal best to take heat two, finishing in 59.58.

But she was still thrilled with what sheíd achieved: ďItís a really great atmosphere out there. Itís my first time under 60sec, and Iím really happy.Ē
