Du Toit too hot in EAD freestyle

South Africa’s Natalie Du Toit had to endure a tense wait while the results of the women’s multi-disability 50m freestyle final were worked out.

In order to decide the winner a formula is applied to the athlete’s times to work out the placings against the current world record in the disability class. When the results flashed up, the world and commonwealth record holder was visibly moved.
