Road events consist of the men and women's marathons, the men's 50km race walk and the men's and men's and women's 20km race walk. The marathons will take in a route though the heart of the city of Manchester whilst the walking routes are adjacent to the Lowry Centre at Salford Quays. Keeping in line with the ticketing policy and making the games affordable for all events like the marathon and walks races will be completely free for spectators.
