Kenyan badminton duo set for Manchester

Kenya sends first badminton team to the Games since 1990.

National men's singles champion Fred Gituku and Anjali Gudka will represent Kenya in badminton in the forthcoming Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

The players will feature in three events with Gituku in men's singles and Gudka in the ladies' category. The two will team up to seek honours in mixed doubles.

Gituku, who is also KBA secretary, has named Malaysia, India and England as the big guns in the badminton tournament.
