England's Olivia Murphy launches another attack on the Welsh defence

England led 36-10 at half-time courtesy of a key contribution from Olivia Murphy.

The English captain controlled the centre court and generated plenty of scoring opportunities for goal attack Alex Astle and goal shooter Abby Teare.

Astle finished with 42/66 and Teare 39/48.

The aerial play of Englandís defensive combination, Sonia Mikoloma and Amanda Newton, resulted in numerous interceptions.

Wales centre Gemma Evans was among their best before being substituted at half-time while goal attack Sian Edwards (WAL) was their top scorer with 6/14.

England play New Zealand on Monday in what will be a pivotal match in their campaign to improve on their bronze medal from 1998 in Kuala Lumpur.
