Marcus is the second rugby league player to be called up to the squad and joins Salford City Reds winger Neil Baxter in the 20-man sevens training team.

England sevens Coach, and former league star, Joe Lydon told the England Rugby Football Union website: "If selected, Marcus is on loan from Leeds Rhinos to the sevens squad for the duration of the Commonwealth Games. He is a rugby league England international and has pace, experience and a lot of ability."

Tickets are still available to see great rugby sevens action at the Commonwealth Games from our ticketing section
