Bhagwat pistol whips competitors

India's Anjali Bhagwat showed the other shooters how it was done in the women's 10m Air Rifle singles earlier this morning.

Bhagwat bags gold medal

Indian shooter Anjali Bhagwat came through the women's 10m Air Rifle qualification in first place earlier today. This success carried on and saw her win the the final heat of the competition as well. She finished on 500.8.

Team-mate Suma Shirur scooped the silver medal with a points score of 500.0. She could not have been disappointed with this result as India secured the top positions.

England's Louise Minnett claimed the bronze medal after reaching a score of 494.8.
