Michael Gault narrowly won the men's singles 50m final earlier this morning at the Bisley National Shooting Centre. He finished in first place with a score of 559. India's Samaresh Jung finished as the second best qualifier with 558 points. A gap of one point was all that separated him from heading to the final as the favourite. South Africans Daniel Francois van Tonder and Frederick William van Tonder both completed the qualifier with a score of 547 points. The men's singles 50m final takes place later this afternoon at the National Shooting Centre in Bisley.
