National Squash Centre, Sportcity

The National Squash Centre will be the new home of the Squash Rackets Association. Six new permanent fixed courts and one moveable show court it will undoubtedly become one of the premier squash facilities in the world and will provide a superb venue for what will effectively be a world championship of squash.

From the South follow the M56 for Manchester Airport continue on M56 to the M60 (Ring Road) North East. Follow the M60 North East and leave at Junction 23 (Ashton under Lyne). From Junction 23 follow the A635 (Manchester Road) west to Manchester and continue onto A662 (Ashton Old Road) which will bring you to the proposed park and ride facilities.

The venue will open to members of the public 60 minutes before each session and close 30 minutes after the session

On Wednesday 31 July gates will only open 30 minutes before the beginning of the third session due to gates closing time for the second session

• No glass bottles or cans may be brought into the venue


• No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the venue although they may be purchased from the bar within the venue


• Smoking is not permitted inside the venue and outside only in the spectator compound


• Children under the age of two will be admitted free provided they do not occupy a seat
