Gibson breaks record in semi final


James Gibson sets a new Games record to take him through to the final of the menís 50m breaststroke final.

Gibson, who won bronze in the 100m breaststroke, swam a time of 27.56 in his heat and amazingly fellow Englishmen Darren Mew swam within a hundredth of a second of this in the second semi final.

The third fastest time was swam by Morgan Knabe who took silver in the 100m breaststroke on 1 August.
