Australia's Irina Lashko picked up her second gold of the Commonwealth Games by claiming the 3m springboard title to go with the 1m title she won on Thursday.

Australia's Irina Lashko picked up her second gold of the Commonwealth Games by claiming the 3m springboard title to go with the 1m title she won on Thursday.

A delighted Lashko said after the event: ďItís beautiful. I donít worry about the pressure. I just concentrate on my dives.The first gold medal was indescribable, the first of the Games, but the second is bloody amazing. I am so happy to bring back Commonwealth gold for Australia.Ē

Englandís Jane Smith collected her second bronze was equally pleased: ďďIím over the moon again. When I came out of the water, I knew I got a medal, and you canít believe what a great feeling that is. Itís impossible to say that one competition is better than the other. I finished both with a great dive.Ē
