Manchester Aquatics Centre

The Manchester Aquatics Centre is a new £32 million swimming pool complex located close to the city centre. Largely funded by Sport England, it is the only complex in the UK with two 50-metre pools as well as separate diving and leisure pools. In Games mode it will have a seating capacity of circa 2,500.

General venue rules

• No glass bottles or cans may be brought into the venue


• No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the venue (alcohol can be purchased within the venue).


• Smoking is permitted in restricted areas only


• Children under the age of two will be admitted free provided they do not occupy a seat


• Even if it is cold outside, it will be very warm inside the venue - make sure you don't wear too many layers


• Flash photography is not permitted during diving and synchronised swimming sessions


• Plan to arrive an hour before the start of the session
